Medieval town Cherven
It is located next to the village Cherven – architectural and archeological reserve. It is located 14 km from the Nisovo village. You can reach Cherven on asphalted road. There are personal and group visitations organized. There are indication signs and boards placed. There is a car park.

The cave is located in Pepelina village and 28km far from Nisovo village. You can reach the cave on asphalted road. There is a car park. To visit the cave you need to preliminary application, because you`ll need a guide specialist. There are indication signs and boards placed.

The Knights Templar`s graveyard
Nisovo is sacred place, where the knights templar have come worship the site. The village is situated in the picturesque valley of the river Lom, near the rock churches in Ivanovo and the medieval town Cherven.
The archeologist professor Nikolai Ovcharov, known as the Bulgarian Indiana Jones, explored the old stone crosses of XIII-XIX century for two days in Nisovo. He searched the reason why they are carved on the monuments. These crosses remind the symbol of the Order – red cross with expanded edges, placed in circle. Scientists are yet to say whether in the village Nisovo knights from the Templar Order were buried.
